What’s the inspiration behind your upcoming release? It may sometimes sound like a lot of random words in Electric Cherry Horse, but without naming names, it may actually be about one of our member's past ex and an experience around that time lol. But for the video, we wanted something that really matched the energy and vibe of the song. So we knew it needed to be a little crazy and out there and how that ended up being in a dentist's office, we don’t exactly know haha But Cecil one of our guitar players, was up at like 3 am one night and this whole idea kinda came to him and it was perfect for this song.

What’s your production process like? With Electric Cherry Horse and our past two singles, we collaborated with Russell Marsden of Band Of Skulls and Enrico Berto of Mushroom Studios. When we first started working with them it was interesting because we were still in the back half of the pandemic and traveling wasn’t exactly a safe option at the time. But thanks to the internet we met Russell online and started working together over video calls on WhatsApp, which allowed him to sit in on practices virtually. But for Electric Cherry Horse we had finished the song by the time we went on our UK tour towards the end of last year and actually recorded it in Southampton UK in person with Russell and Enrico. That was such an incredible experience, not just because of the tour, but also because we were over in England during the queen's funeral it was so interesting being over there during such a big event in history really.

What’s it like making the song? Electric Cherry Horse was a fun one because we had written it a little while ago and we were playing it at live shows. So over time the song really got seasoned and things changed on it naturally over time for the better. Then Russell and Enrico were really able to help capture that live performance energy in the recording and breath this new life through it that we believe really enhances the song!
